Some screenshots of one of the water materials I made on for the new Hivebusters DLC! I made this opaque version that was light on performance to meet heavy gameplay requirements, which the ability to blend in multiple simple layers overtop to ground it in the environments. Thanks to VFX and Tech Art for additional touches for interactivity, splashes etc! Also, thanks to level art for the awesome job of putting all the assets together and blending the water in nicely.
Had a blast working on this project alongside our talented Environment Artists under the strong leadership of Akio Kimoto and Art Direction of Aryan Hanbeck and Jamie McNulty. Other members of the Environment Art team include Joey Kutzer, David Carman. Enjoy!
